Some exciting changes for your credit union are coming this summer. We are pleased to announce that 1st Valley Credit Union will be merging with America First Credit Union, effective June 12, 2024. This merger has been approved by each credit union’s board of directors, as well as the National Credit Union Administration and the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation.

After careful exploration, we found that the cultures, strategies, products, and services of both credit unions were an excellent match. 1st Valley’s legacy of serving those who serve their community is a natural fit with America First Credit Union’s longstanding service to federal employees and members of the military.

We will strive to make the merger and transition to America First as seamless as possible. You will continue to receive the same great service you’ve come to expect from 1st Valley, along with many new benefits from America First, which has been deeply committed to helping members develop and maintain financial well-being since 1939.

You should continue to use your 1st Valley checks, debit and credit cards, ATM locations and online/mobile banking. You may also contact your credit union by using existing 1st Valley telephone numbers, email addresses or the website. Your 1st Valley branch location will remain open with the same hours and the same friendly employees with whom you are familiar.
